“Learn to Lead”
Leadership is at the heart of Army ROTC at USC. Cadets develop the confidence, discipline, communication skills, and judgment needed to lead others in challenging situations. Through classroom instruction, physical training, field exercises, and hands-on leadership opportunities, cadets learn how to make sound decisions, build cohesive teams, and take responsibility for the success of those around them.
Leadership development extends beyond the ROTC program and prepares cadets for success in both military and civilian careers. At USC, cadets are challenged to lead from the front, learn from their experiences, and continuously improve themselves and their teams. Whether leading a squad during training, organizing a campus event, or serving as a future Army officer, cadets graduate with the skills and character to lead with purpose, integrity, and confidence.
